Event | First Thursday Gallery Walk

Join us at NYFA Gallery on Thursday, November 2 for DUMBO’s monthly First Thursday Gallery Walk.

NYFA invites you to join us for DUMBO’s First Thursday Gallery Walk on November 2. During this festive monthly event, the galleries of DUMBO stay open late and host special events and receptions. NYFA Gallery will be open from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and is presenting an interdisciplinary presentation by NYFA staff members Lauren Hilger and Felicity Hogan; a reading by NYFA Board Member Saïd Sayrafiezadeh; and a performance by Curium, a new contemporary classical music project by NYFA yoga teacher Mara Mayer (bass clarinet) and Lisa Maree Dowling (upright bass), in conjunction with Off Time: NYFA Board and Staff Exhibition.

The exhibition, curated by David C. Terry and Madeline Scholl, shows the work of NYFA’s board and staff who are not merely talented during their time working with NYFA, but in their time away from NYFA as well.
